Outage notice:
Due to the global information outage that occurred this morning, Athena is taking swift action to respond, recover and restore our operations. We appreciate your patience as we work toward returning to normal operations.
When germline genetic testing is ordered, current law (General Laws of Massachusetts Chapter 111, Section 70G) requires the testing laboratory to obtain attestation from the ordering medical practitioner that the patient or the person authorized to consent for the patient has given his/her written informed consent for the testing. For the convenience of our clients, we offer a form of Patient Informed Consent for Genetic Testing that ordering practitioners may use to obtain informed consent of their patients. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us at: 800-394-4493, x2. Thank you.
